Meta-analytic evidence that mindfulness training alters resting state default mode network connectivity

Mindfulness training (MT) enhances brain network connectivity, specifically between the Salience Network (SN) and Default Mode Network (DMN). This neurobiological change supports improved internally-oriented attentional control.
