Summary

Colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor B (CSF1R) is crucial for maintaining hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) and their proliferation. Zebrafish lacking Csf1rb show reduced HSPCs and blood cell development, highlighting a novel role for CSF1R signaling.
