[Laser therapy of seronegative spondyloarthritis]

Multimodality therapy of 29 patients with Bekhterev's disease and Reiter's disease was performed. Of them 19 received external helium-neon laser therapy of the vertebral column and joints. A course of laser therapy consisted of 20-25 sessions. Therapeutic efficacy in this group of patients was assessed on the basis of clinicolaboratory indices and compared to the therapeutic results in the control group. A certain therapeutic effect of the use of laser therapy was obtained in patients with Bekhterev's disease and Reiter's disease proving the appropriateness and promise of further investigations in this direction.
