Chorionic villous-like structures in metastatic testicular choriocarcinoma

A case is reported of a 19-year-old man who presented with a mixed germ cell tumor metastatic from the testicle. The predominant component of the lymph node metastases was choriocarcinoma. Chorionic villous-like structures were identified in several areas of choriocarcinoma. To my knowledge, there is no previous report of chorionic villous-like structures in choriocarcinoma in a male patient.
