Recyclable structured toxic industrial nickel-containing sludge for efficient anionic contaminant adsorption

This study developed a novel sludge-based adsorbent from nickel-containing sludge (NCS) to treat toxic waste and remove anionic contaminants from wastewater. The Ni-Al layered double oxides/calcined NCS (Ni-Al LDOs/CNCS) adsorbent shows high efficiency and reusability.
