Summary

Peritoneal oocyte and sperm transfer (POST) successfully achieved intrauterine pregnancy in a patient with unexplained infertility. This minimally invasive procedure, guided by ultrasound, offers a new option for conception.

Background:

Unexplained infertility affects a significant number of couples seeking fertility treatment.
Traditional assisted reproductive technologies may not be suitable for all cases of infertility.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the efficacy of Peritoneal oocyte and sperm transfer (POST) in achieving pregnancy for a patient with unexplained infertility.
To demonstrate the feasibility of the transabdominovesical route for POST under ultrasound guidance.

Main Methods:

Peritoneal oocyte and sperm transfer (POST) was performed.
The procedure utilized ultrasound guidance and local anesthesia.
The transabdominovesical route was employed.
