Efficient electrocatalytic nitrate reduction in neutral medium by Cu/CoP/NF composite cathode coupled with Ir-Ru/Ti

This study developed a novel copper/cobalt phosphide/nickel foam cathode for efficient electrochemical nitrate removal from surface water. The composite achieved nearly 100% nitrate removal and high nitrogen selectivity, meeting environmental standards.
