Abstract:
According to this study: Suboptimal consumption and frequent discontinuation of preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in men who are at high risk for HIV make PrEP less effective in real-world conditions than in clinical trials.Better monitoring of compliance is needed to make PrEP more effective, especially among young and socioeconomically deprived recipients.
