    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the impact of vegan and lactovegetarian diets on GFR and systemic hemodynamics compared to omnivorous diets.

    • Measured GFR using 51Cr-EDTA clearance in 18 vegans, 16 lactovegetarians, and 18 omnivores matched for age.
