Abstract:
A method to culture neurons from various hypothalamic brain area of young and fetal rats is described. Hypothalamic slabs will survive for several months, and they are able to make interslab connections. Identification of the cultured cells was done by means of immunocytochemical and Lucifer Yellow liposome techniques.
