GDF11 Is a Novel Protective Factor Against Vascular Calcification

Growth differentiation factor 11 (GDF11) is negatively correlated with vascular calcification (VC) and coronary artery calcium score (CACS). GDF11 inhibits VSMC calcification, offering a potential therapeutic target for VC.
