Occupational asthma caused by himic anhydride.

    Summary

    Himic anhydride exposure can cause occupational asthma. This study found that three of seven symptomatic workers had elevated immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies, indicating sensitization to himic anhydride and related compounds.
