Summary

Ozone therapy effectively treated dark circles under the eyes in a case study. This safe and inexpensive treatment offers significant clinical improvement with minimal sessions.

Background:

Dark circles under the eyes are a prevalent global concern with various therapeutic approaches.
Limited literature exists on novel treatments for infraorbital hyperpigmentation.

Observation:

A case report details the treatment of dark circles using specific ozone therapy concentrations and dosages.
The study adhered to CARE guidelines for case reporting.

Findings:

Ozone therapy demonstrated significant efficacy as a biostimulator, reducing infraorbital dark circles.
The patient and clinicians reported high satisfaction after only two ozone therapy sessions.
Ozone therapy proved to be a safe, cost-effective, and rapid intervention.

Implications:

Ozone therapy presents a promising alternative treatment for dark circles under the eyes.
This method can be utilized as a standalone therapy or in conjunction with other treatments.
Further research into ozone therapy for dermatological conditions is warranted.
