Improving hand hygiene compliance significantly reduced healthcare-associated Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (HA-CRE) colonization. The DMAIC framework and Targeted Solution Tool (TST) implementation led to a substantial decrease in HA-CRE rates.
