    Background:

    • Individual Response Stereotypy (IRS) is a long-standing research topic.
    • The stability of IRS reactivity profiles over time is often assumed but not rigorously proven.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the stability and uniqueness of individual response stereotypy (IRS) profiles.
    • To assess the predictive validity of initial sessions for long-term IRS.
    • To compare IRS profiles derived from multiple observations versus single sessions.

    Main Methods:

    • Measured eight physiological variables: heart rate, heart rate variability, muscle tension, skin resistance level and response, blood pressure (systolic and diastolic), and pulse transit time.
    • Collected data over four laboratory task sessions and two subsequent rest sessions.
    • Analyzed the stability and uniqueness of reactivity profiles across sessions.
