[Radiolucency at both lower third molars: the paradental cyst]

• A 23-year-old male presented with irritation and a bad taste localized to his left mandibular third molar.
• Clinical and histopathological examination identified a paradental cyst.

Findings:

• The paradental cyst was situated distal to the lower third molar.
• The cyst was classified as an inflammatory collateral cyst, similar to mandibular buccal bifurcation cysts.

Implications:

• Enucleation of the cyst and extraction of the associated third molar are the recommended treatments.
• This treatment approach leads to a complete resolution with no reported recurrences.
