The 129S1/SvImJ mouse strain shows anxiety and fear deficits, linked to changes in the endocannabinoid system (ECS). Specifically, increased cannabinoid type-2 receptor (CB2R) expression in the brain correlates with these neuropsychiatric-like behaviors.
