Field-of-view (FOV) optimised and constrained undistorted single-shot (FOCUS) diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) offers superior qualitative thyroid gland imaging over conventional DWI (C-DWI). However, FOCUS-DWI shows lower quantitative signal-to-noise ratio and contrast-to-noise ratio.
