Depression in systemic lupus erythematosus: Modifiable or inheritable? a two-sample mendelian randomization study.

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) does not genetically increase depression risk. Mendelian randomization analysis revealed genetically predicted SLE decreased the odds of depression and major depressive disorder (MDD).
