A patient initially suspected of having a pyogenic liver abscess was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) with hepatic metastases. Definitive diagnosis required a trucut biopsy and immunohistochemistry, highlighting the importance of these methods for metastatic cancer.
