[Apoplectic course of brain tumors]

Abstract:
The authors present 9 cases of cerebral haemorrhagic stroke caused by intracranial neoplasms, which appeared among 1241 tumors operated upon in the Department of Neurosurgery Medical Academy of Lódź. In 5 cases there were metastatic tumors, malignant melanoma in three of them. In 2 cases the tumour was of meningeal, and in two of glial origin.
