Lymphedema of the dorsum of the foot appears almost exclusively in women. Its positive and differential diagnosis is only based on clinical signs. In order to avoid a spontaneous aggravation, the patient must practice foot hygiene and possibly be immobilized, although this measure is not well accepted.
