Theoretical accuracy for indirect predictions based on SNP effects from single-step GBLUP

This study introduces a method to calculate the accuracy of indirect predictions (IP) using SNP effects from single-step genomic best linear unbiased prediction (ssGBLUP). Results show that IP accuracy is comparable to genomic estimated breeding values (GEBV) accuracy, even with fewer genotyped animals.
