[Age dynamics of the fluorescence polymorphism of human chromosomes]

Age dependent changes in Q-band heteromorphisms of human chromosomes have been studied in 502 individuals aged 7-101 years from the normal ethnic homogeneous population. Correlation analysis has shown a low but statistically reliable negative linear age dependence of the mean number of Q-variants per individual.
