Brilliant Blue G (BBG) staining during macular hole (MH) surgery enhances outer retinal structure recovery and visual function. BBG-assisted surgery led to faster visual acuity improvement and better ellipsoid zone (EZ) repair compared to standard internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling.
