Summary

The endoloop (EL) is a safe and effective option for stump closure during laparoscopic appendectomy (LA), even in complicated cases. This study found no significant difference in complications compared to the endostapler (ES).

  • To evaluate and compare the safety and cost-effectiveness of endoloop (EL) versus endostapler (ES) for stump closure in laparoscopic appendectomy (LA).
