    Background:

    Observation:

    • This study evaluated four patients with PSR experiencing longstanding vitreous hemorrhages or retinal detachments.
    • These patients underwent standard surgical procedures for their condition.

    Findings:

    • All four patients were successfully treated using either standard vitrectomy techniques or scleral buckling procedures.
    • No serious complications, including anterior segment necrosis, were observed in the treated patients.
