Ventilation/perfusion SPECT/CT (VQ SPECT/CT) effectively detects and monitors persistent lung perfusion abnormalities in recovered COVID-19 patients. This imaging technique is safe for identifying small airway disease and pulmonary microthrombosis post-infection.
