FDG uptake patterns in isolated and systemic cardiac sarcoidosis

Systemic cardiac sarcoidosis (SCS) shows more extensive lesions than isolated cardiac sarcoidosis (ICS) before treatment. However, both conditions demonstrate similar treatment responses and long-term prognoses in FDG-PET/CT studies.

- Despite differing pre-treatment characteristics, ICS and SCS patients demonstrate comparable treatment responses and prognoses.
