Limonoids with anti-inflammatory activity: A review

Limonoids from Meliaceae and Rutaceae plants show potent anti-inflammatory effects. Both intact and modified limonoids effectively reduced nitric oxide production and pro-inflammatory cytokines in vitro and in vivo studies.
