Summary

Return to sports after eccentric acetabular rotation osteotomy (ERAO) for developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) is possible for many patients. A preoperative center edge angle less than 0° was the main factor limiting sports participation, but continuing sports did not worsen osteoarthritis.
