    Summary

    Sarcoidosis can cause pathological fractures in the hand, as seen in this case of the little finger. Surgical treatment involving bone grafting successfully healed the fracture.

    • Surgical resection of the sarcoidosis-affected bone segment was performed.
    • Bone grafting was utilized to reconstruct the defect.
    • Successful bone healing was achieved post-operatively.

    Implications:

    • This case highlights the importance of considering sarcoidosis in the differential diagnosis of pathological fractures, even in the hand.
    • Effective management involves addressing both the underlying disease and the skeletal complication.
    • Surgical intervention with bone grafting can restore structural integrity and function.
