Persistence of primary hyperparathyroidism: a single-center experience

Multiglandular disease often causes persistent hyperparathyroidism after surgery. Preoperative imaging has limited ability to detect this, making bilateral neck exploration a potentially beneficial approach for primary hyperparathyroidism patients.
