  • A systematic review was conducted using multiple databases (PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, CNKI, WANFANG) and grey literature.
  • Risk of bias was assessed using established tools (Cochrane, Joanna Briggs Institute).
  • 36 studies comprising 47 cases of MICRR were analyzed.

  • Premolars are typically the initial teeth affected, but all permanent teeth can eventually be involved.
