- Most participating workplaces were small (63% with 1-100 employees).
- Baseline chronic disease organizational practices were minimal across nutrition, physical activity, diabetes, cholesterol, and high blood pressure.
- A total of 95 PSEs were reported: 8 policy (P), 55 systems (S), and 32 environmental (E) changes.
Conclusions:
- Policy change was the least utilized PSE strategy in this study.
- Further research with robust designs is required to evaluate the impact of PSEs, the role of funding/TA, and their effectiveness in improving employee health.
