    Summary

    Multiple skeletal fibroxanthomas, also known as nonossifying fibromas, are more common than previously thought. These benign bone lesions present in various radiographic patterns and are usually found in the lower extremities.

    Background:

    • Skeletal "fibroxanthoma" (nonossifying fibroma, fibrous cortical defect) is a common benign bone lesion.

    • To evaluate the incidence and characteristics of multiple skeletal fibroxanthomas.
    • To identify distinct radiographic patterns associated with multiple lesions.
    • To assess the association with coexistent conditions like neurofibromatosis.
