Siblings reduce multiple sclerosis risk by preventing delayed primary Epstein-Barr virus infection

Having siblings, particularly younger ones, may protect against multiple sclerosis by facilitating early Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection. This suggests EBV vaccination before adolescence could prevent multiple sclerosis.
