Perioperative Risk Factors for Post-operative Pneumonia after Type A Acute Aortic Dissection Surgery

Post-operative pneumonia (POP) affects 31.5% of patients undergoing Type A acute aortic dissection (TAAAD) surgery. Smoking, high preoperative white blood cells, and intraoperative transfusion are key risk factors for POP.
