This study found that trunk rotation and Y-exercises effectively activate the lower trapezius (LT), while the cat and dog scapular protraction exercise activates the serratus anterior (SA) and suppresses the upper trapezius (UT). These findings aid in selecting exercises for shoulder injury prevention and rehabilitation.
