    Background:

    • Testicular cancer is the most common solid tumor in men aged 20-34.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To assess nurses' knowledge, teaching, and practice of testicular self-examination (TSE).
    • To identify barriers and facilitators for nurses in promoting TSE.
    • To emphasize the role of nurses in testicular cancer prevention education.

    Main Methods:

    • A questionnaire survey was distributed to 60 nurses of various grades in a Sussex hospital.
    • Data collected included knowledge of TSE, high-risk groups, and self-reported teaching practices.
    • Analysis focused on comparing male and female nurses' knowledge and practice.

    Main Results:

    • Nurses' knowledge of TSE was generally adequate, with male nurses showing slightly better awareness.
    • Awareness of high-risk groups for testicular cancer was incomplete among surveyed nurses.
