Prosthetic lunate replacement with tenodesis offers favorable outcomes for late Kienböck

  • To evaluate the long-term outcomes of prosthetic lunate replacement with dual bundle scaphoid-triquetrum tenodesis for carpal stabilization in patients with late Kienböck's disease.

  • 12 patients (5 male, 7 female; mean age 43) underwent lunate prosthesis with tenodesis.
  • Mean follow-up was 9.1 years.
  • Outcomes assessed via DASH score, revision surgery, and wrist range of motion.
