Looking Back to Look Forward: What to Expect in a Redo Surgery for a Bioprosthesis Replacement

Redo mitral bioprosthesis surgery increases risks of death and complications. Careful initial bioprosthesis selection is crucial to mitigate these risks in patients requiring repeat procedures.
