CD8+IL17+ T cells (Tc17 cells) are implicated in autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis (MS). This review summarizes evidence for Tc17 cell roles in MS and other autoimmune conditions, comparing their impact to CD4+IL17+ T cells (Th17 cells).
