Abstract:
The occurrence of keloids in the foot is rare but should always be a surgical consideration for those individuals who may be predisposed to this pathology. Failure to recognize the potential for keloids or hypertrophic scar development may result in a severe deformity that is functionally, cosmetically, and emotionally undesirable.
