Effects of Acidic Environments on Dental Structures after Bracket Debonding

Acidic drinks like cola and energy drinks weaken bracket adhesion to teeth. Resin-modified glass ionomer (RMGIC) showed better resistance to acid erosion from Red Bull™ than resin composite (CR).

- Prolonged exposure to acidic drinks degrades bracket bonding strength.
- Resin-modified glass ionomer (RMGIC) offers superior resistance to acid erosion compared to resin composite (CR).
- Red Bull™ demonstrates a more significant erosive impact on dental enamel than Coca-Cola™.
