Pseudo repetitive non-reentrant ventriculoatrial synchrony: Current challenges

Pseudo-RNRVAS is a novel pacemaker-mediated arrhythmia that can occur even without ventriculoatrial (VA) block and may lead to atrial fibrillation (AF). Programming adjustments effectively prevent this arrhythmia in patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs).

Background:
- A novel pacemaker-mediated arrhythmia, pseudo-RNRVAS, mimics repetitive non-reentrant ventriculoatrial synchrony (RNRVAS) but can occur in patients with ventriculoatrial (VA) block.
