Wide-field three-dimensional photoacoustic/ultrasound scanner using a two-dimensional matrix transducer array.
This study presents a new dual-modal photoacoustic/ultrasound imaging system that overcomes the limited field-of-view of traditional 2D matrix transducer arrays. The enhanced system enables wide-field volumetric imaging for preclinical and clinical applications.
