Background:

Blunt trauma can cause aortic injuries, but abdominal aortic aneurysms and dissections are exceptionally rare.
Existing literature primarily focuses on thoracic aortic trauma, leaving abdominal presentations underrepresented.

Observation:

A unique case involving abdominal aortic aneurysm and dissection secondary to blunt force trauma is presented.
The patient underwent a conservative surgical approach, involving intimal flap resection and aortotomy closure.

Findings:

The conservative surgical technique, utilizing a Blalock-type vascular suture, yielded favorable early and long-term outcomes.
A comprehensive 6-year follow-up confirmed the sustained efficacy of the intervention.
