Summary

Advanced maternal age is linked to smaller fetal growth parameters in the third trimester, despite similar maternal weight gain. Head circumference is a key indicator for estimating delivery dates in older mothers.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To compare third-trimester fetal biometric parameters between women of optimal maternal age and advanced maternal age.
  • To assess the influence of maternal age on fetal growth during late pregnancy.

  • Participants were divided into two groups: optimal maternal age (21-29 years) and advanced maternal age (30+ years).
