Spontaneous Extensor Pollicis Longus Rupture Associated With an Extensor Digitorum Brevis Manus

A rare case of thumb extensor pollicis longus rupture was caused by an unusual anatomical variant. This finding necessitates altered surgical approaches due to the absence of the extensor indicis proprius tendon.
